Even though I have put these on the side burner while I grow my health coaching business to serve a greater global community I still cherish life through the creative eye of a lens when we travel! I've been playing with light and color through the lens since I was able to hold a camera and it's the way I share life with others, share my thirst for life, and capture moments.
I will also always love the play of pen and ink, calligraphy is in my blood, and I love it when I create project winds up on my desk for a month - a Quaker marriage certificate, a family tree, a set of wedding invitations. Click "calligrapher" above for samples.
In 2003 I teamed up with my one-and-only to combine his experience from life in a wheelchair and my love of writing and travel, to form Access Anything - which now remains a resource to help others with disabilities adventure travel with independence. We closed the doors of this business in 2013, but still weave aspects of that experience into our life's work as well, consulting with the Open Doors Organization out of Chicago and helping the travel industry be the best it can be for travelers with disabilities.
Occasionally when the fancy strikes me, I still author posts on my blog at Andy's Idea Factory. This is a hub for all things Andy - creative, herbs, growing food, recipes, health education, solutions, ideas, and more. My latest adventures include an out-of-this-world gluten free sourdough bread recipe, and home brewing kombucha!
